When the rest of the World was groping in darkness about the reasons behind disease and death, India was producing Medical Literature that analyzed and explained the very basis of life. When the rest of the World attributed disease to the super natural, Indian experts like Charaka, Susrutha and Vagbhata established the relationship between the cause and effect. India taught Mathematics and Astronomy to the World. Globalization, that has transformed the lives of people in both the Developed and Developing countries provided yet another opportunity to show to the World India's Prowess. This capability of the Indian mind to achieve the extra-ordinary lies at the very base of the idea behind AP Media's Academy of Integrated Media Studies (AIMS).

The Mission: To Produce Top-notch Experts in the field of Media:

AIMS was inaugurated on April 2, 2011 by George John, Director Warner Brothers. Speaking on the occasion he hoped that AIMS will be able to produce World class experts in the fields of Graphics, VFX and other special effects. In accordance with the hope expressed by many more celebrities like Hindi Film Star Ritesh Deshmukh, Directors and others that had gathered at the inaugural, AIMS has established Infrastructural facilities to impart top class training in the field. It has designed courses keeping the increasing requirements of the industry in mind.

AIMS has already trained numerous impact making Professionals, whose trail blazing exertions are causing ripples in the market.

Our Motto & Relationship with Digitization of Hyderabad:

The Urbanization of the World has been unprecedentedly rapid. Quite a few years have already passed when the population of the World living in cities has crossed 50 per cent. In a few decades the Urban population of the World will cross 70 per cent. Planners of the day, therefore, cannot ignore the need for better management of our cities. The need of the hour is to generate municipal data that can help the planners provide better infrastructure and better generation of resources. AP Media Corporation took up the project of Digitization of Hyderabad with this precise idea. It is an innovative idea and the work would be unique in its content and consequence. On the completion of the project, Hyderabad will become the first ever digitally mapped and imaged city in the country. The proposal for the 3D digital imaging of the entire Hyderabad city has already been approved by the GHMC. Digital information of the entire Hyderabad city will be gathered and documented to ensure not only better municipal administration, but also transparency in operations and utilization of public funds. Apart from being helpful in deciding priorities and better utilization of public money, it will also be very helpful to the common citizen.

This project will require hundreds of visual media experts. As a training institution associated with AP Media Corporation, AIMS will train up young talent to take part in this massive visual Digitization work. Those trained at AIMS would be absorbed by AP Media Corporation. Attractive salaries and emoluments would be offered to the candidates selected for the work.

Apart from this, AIMS has designed the courses in such a fashion that a product of this institution will be counted among the most preferred by corporate media bodies and the film industry.
